We invite you to engage in this transformative five-day wellness retreat on the stunning island of Hydra, Greece. Known as Ydra or Idra (Greek: Ύδρα, pronounced [ˈiðra] in Modern Greek) and historically referred to as Hydrea, this captivating island is situated among the Saronic Islands in the Aegean Sea, nestled between the Myrtoan Sea and the Argolic Gulf. 

It is divided from the Peloponnese by a narrow channel of water. The name Hydrea, derived from the Greek term for "water," signifies the numerous natural springs present on the island. 

Hydra's economy is predominantly tourism-based, with a substantial proportion of visitors arriving from Athens. High-speed hydrofoils and catamarans operate from Piraeus, located approximately 37 nautical miles (69 kilometres) away, with service routes including stops at Poros and Spetses. 

Alternatively, a passenger ferry facilitates transportation between Hydra Harbour and Metochi on the Peloponnese coast. Many participants prefer to drive to Metochi, where secure parking is available before embarking on the 20-minute ferry ride to Hydra. It is essential to highlight that, due to local regulations, only rubbish trucks are permitted as motor vehicles on the island, thus conserving its serene atmosphere. 

Public transport options comprise horses, mules, donkeys, and water taxis; however, the compact design of the inhabited area encourages the majority of visitors to traverse the island on foot. This retreat provides two options: the first includes accommodation at a villa along with all meals and the complete retreat programme, priced at £600.00 -700.00 per person for single occupancy. 

The villa accommodates 4 guests, with an additional private en-suite available in the attached outhouse. Comprehensive details and well-structured plans are now avilable Pre-registered participants will receive priority access on 2nd January 2026. 

Alternatively, participants may choose to enrol exclusively in the meals and wellness programme, while arranging their own accommodation

Please note that flights are not included in this package. The island is approximately a 1.5-hour ferry ride from Athens (Piraeus).

Day 1 (Sept 29th)

Arrival and Rest

Morning:

Arrival at Athens Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos Airport)

Travel to Hydra Island directly from Pireus, Athens (1.15-2 hours) Regular ferries via Blue Star Ferries, Hellenic Seaways, and Alpha Lines. Pre book recommended, travel

Afternoon:

Arrival at Hydra Port from 1pm

You will be greeted upon arrival by the LPR host

Free time to explore and wander

Evening:

Enjoy a wonderful vegan meal with fellow guests and welcome (Non Alcoholic) drinks in the villa private courtyard.

Post Dinner Sound bath and meditation

Day 2 (Sept 30th)

Morning:

Morning Yoga and Journaling

All Inclusive Vegan Breakfast

Afternoon:

Free time to explore and take photos and visit nearby beaches, museums and harbour.

Optional add on: organic Vegan pampering facial at the villa

Evening:

Gentle Beach Yin Yoga on the beach (10 mins walk)

Local Restaurant with incredible views (One meal Included)

Day 3 (Oct 1)

Morning:

Morning Pilates and Journal time

All inclusive Vegan Breakfast

Afternoon:

Sea Taxi to visit secluded coves/ Hike to lias Monastery.

Evening:

Cacao ceremony and gentle yoga on the beach during sunset

Vegan two course meal and non alcoholic drinks in the courtyard

Day 4 (Oct 2)

Departure day!

Morning:

Early Morning meditation and sound healing

All Inclusive Vegan Breakfast

Time to depart! Checkout is anytime between 11:00 -13:00

The retreat provides accommodation with four beds, including a separate outhouse for for 1 guest who prefer additional privacy near the entrance of the property. 

All meals—breakfast and dinner—along with the complete schedule of retreat activities, are included in your stay. Lunch isn't included but many wonderful tavernas available if you are still hungry after brunch!

Guests will enjoy ample free time each day to discover the many attractions of Hydra, which boasts stunning clear beaches, rich history, and tranquil coves. 

There are also donkey and water taxis available for convenient exploration. For more detailed information, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
